Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I found this bug by creating a custom high-cost building with 4 units on the Twin Oracle Point lot in Newcrest.
What happens when the bug occurs? My playable family resides in one unit while Unit 2 was able to be filled by residents by creating a tenant agreement. However, while Unit 3 and Unit 4 were visible in build mode and the Manage Worlds screen, they were not listed under my playable Sims' Owned Businesses panel. This kept me from properly filling the vacancies with a proper tenant agreement. The rent price for the 2 bugged units are listed at 4,294,967,295 simoleons while in Play Mode or on the Manage Worlds Screen. The property values and unit dimensions in Build Mode are accurate. I did test Unit 2 by both moving in a game generated suggested tenant and by manually moving in a custom, second playable family. Both of the methods with Unit 2 were successful and I was able to create tenant agreements. I also was able to manually move in a third playable family in to Unit 3 by entering play mode with Family 3 and using the Move Sims panel. However, no tenant agreement was made and I cannot interact with the tenants as a landlord would. I checked that the lot was not available for purchase in the Buy Rental Property mode and my game version was up to date at the time of this submission.
What do you expect to see? I expected to have the 3 units that were not filled by the property owners' but on the same lot, to be listed under the owners' (the playable family that the building was created under) Owned Businesses panel where then I could interact with each unit information panel and establish custom rent prices and lease length. I also expected the default rent of the 3 units to match at negative 1 simoleon (as Unit 2 did) and instead saw the other 2 locked in an unrealistic price. I expected tenant/landlord interactions between all tenants and the property owners but this was not possible with the bugged units. I overall expected more synchronization between the families sharing the lot, though I admit that may just be due to an inaccurate set of expectations of intended gameplay.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
