So I just counted all the residential rental units in my save file and before converting this lot into a rental I had 39 units. I suppose my issue is simply me hitting the game’s limit of 40 units. I wish there was some kind of warning!
Adding on here: I tried removing a unit from another lot then converting this lot to a res rental with only 1 unit and the issue still happened. Does the 40 unit limit mean that I can never make any more residential rentals in my save file? 🤯😵💫
If I’m not mistaken each save can have 99 residential rental units per save without mods. So this shouldn’t be a factor in what’s occurring.
I have been having many saving issues myself though I cannot determine exactly why. I think there’s just bugs in game yet that haven’t been ironed out.
