[ARCHIVED] [FR] Items in Fridge, Bookshelf & Toybox Disappear on R-Residential

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All but the Modern Menswear Kit
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have your sim own and live on a residential rental lot. Go to manage worlds and then go into the residential lot using the build mode option in manage worlds. Initially I thought you had to edit the lot, but you don't just going in using the build mode option from manage worlds causes this issue to happen.
What happens when the bug occurs? When you return to your sims' household in live mode everything that was in the fridge, bookshelf and toybox will have disappeared. It isn't in the family inventory or any of the sims in the household personal inventory, it's just gone.
What do you expect to see? I expect that the items in my sims' fridge, bookshelves and toybox don't disappear after going into the lot from manage worlds.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. This happened after installing For Rent (and was already happening before the Dec 14 game update and has continued to happen since).

I then went to manage worlds and chose the build option and went into their lot:
After doing that (going into the residential rental using the build option from mange worlds), here are screenshots of the now empty contents of my sims' fridge, bookshelf and toybox:
Note that there is a work around, you need to put everything in the fridge, book shelf and toybox into one of your sims' personal inventory before you go to manage worlds to edit the residential rental lot. I have noticed that inventory of the yard sale table and street gallery doesn't get emptied, but they don't share inventory. I've not tested with other items that might share inventory, so it's possible it may affect other things.
Note I removed my mods folder before the Dec 5 game update and had not added them back while testing for this. I also deleted the localthumbcache file and repaired my game after both game updates (Dec 5 and Dec 14) and after installing the pack.
Dec 12/23 Edit: This also happens if the sim is the tenant per the report by @IvVicious94 However, when I further tested with a tenant vs the owner, just going into the lot through build mode in manage worlds caused the items to disappear, I didn't need to even edit the lot when I did this. That was the case both as a tenant (though the tenant in question was one that my owners had rented to through the rental UI) and as the owner (I had already mentioned that editing the lot from manage worlds wasn't necessary for the items to disappear when playing as the owner in my bug report).
