[ARCHIVED] [FR] Tenant Events still happen when Rental Unit Events are disabled

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Out of all the packs released from launch up to August 11, 2024, I have: All Expansion Packs, all Game Packs except Journey to Batuu and Werewolves and all Stuff Packs except Crystal Creations. When it comes to kits it’s easier to list those I have, which are: Bust the Dust, Country Kitchen, Courtyard Oasis, Blooming Rooms, Décor to the Max, Desert Luxe, Everyday Clutter, Bathroom Clutter, Simtimates Collection, Greenhouse Haven and Book Nook.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Turn off Rental Unit Events in game settings, under pack settings and keep playing as a landlord.
What happens when the bug occurs? Tenant events still happen despite events being disabled.
What do you expect to see? No tenant events happening when events are disabled. With the setting on I experience 1-2 events daily on my lot, which has 6 units, but only sims living in 2 of them – my sims, the landlords, and one tenant. It’s honestly a bit much, which is why I wish to disable them.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? I don’t know.
Please describe the patch or change you made. I haven’t played in months. I stopped playing because of the inexcusable amount of game breaking bugs and the introduction of the shopping cart icon, so I didn’t make it very far in my For Rent save. Judging from everyone else in this thread, it’s been a problem all along and I’m just noticing because I caved and started playing again.
