[FR] Tenant Events still happen when Rental Unit Events are disabled

I have Rental Unit Events disabled in the settings but events are still happen, constantly.  It's preventing me from playing with rental units because they're so often!  

I can see this thread is under investigation. I am having the same issue. My sim is a landlord and I have Game Pack Rental events both options turned off yet my tenants will revolt, have tenant events such as fixing water leaks and these will fail. 

For example, a water leak occurred and my sim went over the fix. The tasks were 1. Fix all broken objects and 2. Mop up 7 puddles. My sim repaired the two objects that were broken and there were 6 more hours for her to mop however, as soon as she finished repairing the second object, the event ended saying she had failed this. There was still plenty of event time left and she hadn’t left the property. This has happened previously with another file and another tenancy event. 

Fingers crossed EA fix this. The tenancy events just take up too much sim ingame time and effort. 

I experience the same, still having events with the setting set off. Although I've not have any revolts nor animal drives or such.

The events I have had and remember (I just chose the expensive contractor when I get the events so I'm not really paying much attention to the notifications). 
I have seen the ghost event several times as well as the water leak and I believe the electric one and I have a a few of the mold ones as well. But the water leak is the one most often I believe. 

I play as the landlord because I want to have control of the property, but I don't want to actively be/ play the landlord really. And that is a must with the events still happening when the setting is turned off. 

I have the Rental Unit Events turned off in game but yet the pet adoption drive has repeatedly started.

I turned them off just yesterday and they were still happening. Opened up my game today and a new event is happening which shouldn't since I turned it. Really makes this super annoying to play :/

Tenant revolt event will not trigger when Rental Unit Events are disabled in game options.
