Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Make a household with a sim that has a music preference and launch live mode. Have wants enabled. Purchase earbuds from Fitness Stuff pack and a Lin-Z smart speaker. When your sim gets the want to Listen to a music genre, try the listen interaction on both the Lin-Z speaker and the earbuds.
What happens when the bug occurs? When my sim listens to the music from Lin-Z or the earbuds, they never complete the whim.
What do you expect to see? When the sim listens to music the whim should be completed like when listening to any other stereo.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I recently encounter the same problem. I have a Sim who likes Electronica music, they were not rich at first so they don't have any stereo at home. When they have a Want to listen to Electronica music, I either ignore it or I have my Sim travel to a Nightclub to complete their want. Once my Sim earn a decent amount of money, I decided to buy the fancy Lin-Z Smart Speaker. When "Listen to Electronica" Want appear, I play Electronica from the Lin-Z Smart Speaker and my Sim automatically listen to the song but the Want never completed. I don't know when the problem starts to appear as I rarely use Lin-Z Smart Speaker, I usually use regular stereo and never have any problem.
I haven't try with different household and different save. The problem currently happened in one specific household in one save.
Note: I only have Base Game, free Stuff Pack and free Kit. No Mods or CC installed.
