[FSP] Earbuds don't fulfill stereo wants

I've got this issue too after the last nightmare update that got released. Would love to say I'm shocked that such a small bug has existed for years without a fix, but unfortunately, I'm not.

I had no idea this was a bug, I just figured that for some reason earbuds didn't fulfill the listen to wants.  Lin-Z works fine for me though.

Yes, there's been tasks from midlife crises, and souls journey that I will do and it won't check off :(

I have the same issue. My sims wants to listen to a specific music channel, but the want wasn't fulfilled by using the earbuds with that channel.

I started having this after the last update. I have all of the packs except enchanted by nature. 

When receiving a Music Like Whim (f.e. Listen to Pop, Listen To Tween Pop, LIsten to Electronica), on your GUI it will not mark as complete if you try to fulfill it by using Earbuds from Fitness Stuff, even if you've manually selected the action as a player. Static Stereos still work but it seems specific to earbuds the whims won't recognize your listening to that type of music.

I am playing with all Expansion and Game Packs, All but 2 Stuff Packs, and a few Kits. I play on PC, through the EA App. I am not using mods nor have I ever installed them on this PC for this game. Though I am not using mods per se, I am using Sims 4's "Custom Music" Feature, but only to add the mp3 files to the song type directory, not to enable any specific coding-based changes, or functionality not provided by the game itself.
