Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I can upload the lot to the Gallery, good chunk of it (decor and offices, mainly) is CC
What happens when the bug occurs? When I get a suspect on the lot
What do you expect to see? My Sim to start interrogating a suspect
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
Hellooooooo, I didn't know if I could yeet this to an already-existing thread so I just decided to save myself the hassle and make my own thread, especially since the aforementioned one hadn't been updated for a few years now. I've edited the Get to Work Police Station lot as my own and I understand editing such a lot would cause bugs, more specifically the broken Interrogation Table. The main reason I'm making this a new thread is bc I wondered if such a solution has arisen and the thread from a few years ago just wasn't updated with the solution. I've also taken out all of my CC and tried interrogating with out it and it still hasn't worked.
With that having been said, I've changed my Detective Sim's story line just the slightest since I can't get the table to work. Would the same issues arise if I edited the Veterinarian lot? Thanks for your time! Happy Simming :3

This is still an issue from 2015? How hard is it to correct this?
I just encountered this today - so it's still an issue. The "original" color will work - it's the first one with gray/green in color. I was able to finally get the interrogation completed and leveled up for the next task.
