I've seen this too, in my case it was batter that I'd prepped for waffles.

    Same. My sims will autonomously go for batter if I’m not paying attention. They also want batter if I click the auto-solve button.

      NPC sims visiting my house also take prepped ingredients out of the fridge and eat them.
