[ARCHIVED] Household receives positive bill they can't pay

Recently moved into a new house on sims and all of a sudden, bills come, cant pay them because the are a positive 11k??? Tried it without mods and scripts and still the same. Unsure what to do as i c...

Hi! I just moved my sims into a new house, and the bills are coming up as a positive number so they're unpayable, but my power was still shut off. I've turned the game off than back on again multiple times, tried entering different lots and returning, and nothing works. I don't use any mods, so I don't understand why it's happening. 

This is my second generations playthrough, I had to leave my first one because the save file was corrupted after the last update, and I really don't want to have to start again. ☹️

Just want to note - no last exception files are created from this issue

    This is what my bills look like, at this point I'm wondering if it would just be easier to mess around with my house and make it off-the-grid?

      I did also try repairing the game, and moved them into a different house and neighbourhood.

        @cherryadventure Did the math add up in anyway for that positive bill ?

        Also are you using mods/cc ?
