1 no mods
2 I may have d/l house but none used
3 all expansions
4 initially when changing lots in game. Left game without saving when I noticed. Tried starting at lot and traveling to it all with same results.
5 everything shows up on map. No house and 3 sims left showing. I think the kids were at school though.
6 nothing in addition to my other comments

Did you try a backup ? If so, did it occur again ?

    i just got the Sims 4 about a month ago and when i tried to go into an empty lot to move in my family, (family of 6) it disappeared!  It was working fine until the other day.  So I had to delete it because I thought if I deleted it and downloaded it again, it would work again.  But when I went to download it again, it asked me for my payment information again even though I had already Paid for the game before and don't know if I got my money back from deleting it before so just in case, I don't want to pay for it twice.  I really love the game but i'm confused and frustrated right now with it.  Please respond to me AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Are you using mods and custom content in your game ? If no, did you remove or never use ?
      Yes, but removed them to try again but still had same issue when loading the file.

    • Do you download houses from the Gallery ?
      Yes along with households

    • Which expansion do you have ?
      Get to work, Get together, cool kitchens, romantic gardens and out door retreat 

    • What's your operating system ?
      Windows 7

    • Which house(s) are gone ? NPC Houses ? GTW lots ? Your own ?
      Houses (i buillt) base game parks and shops etc and work lots (though i'm surprised the prisoners didn't run off)

    • When did this occur ? When you loaded the game or on traveling ?
      Both! I noticed on the map the houses looked different (they looked like the games houses when i actually replaced them from gallery)

    • Is just the house gone from the lot or the Sims too ?
      Just the lot, ALTHOUGH that said i get messages saying build items have been removed or says the user may no longer own them (something along those lines)

    • How much disc space do you have left on your hard drive (the one where the user folder is in) ?
      i have 209GB free

    • Anything else that comes to mind ?
      Well apart from getting the odd messages about items going missing to.
      i also tried saving my family to gallery and starting again, but i have run into the same problem.

      Did you save the game with the house missing ? If not, does it disappear reproducibly each time ?

      Could you upload your saves somewhere ? Just zip your whole user folder and then upload to mediafire, dropbox or google drive and PM me the link.

    My issue is the same except it's the 4 business lots in Willow Creek I replaced them and now they won't load when I travel there even in the game map they are gone also the neighboring buildings appear as the base game lots this has happened twice to me the first time I didn't save the second time I replaced the lots thought I fixed it and saved and it spread to the lots next to the first to on the right and went to the left


    Yes I have mods ironically it happened after I removed outdated mods actually

    I have all the packs and expansions


    My operating system is windows 10


    It's just the 4 community lots in Willow Creek

    Sims Haven't disappeared unless they died on that lot then they get deleted and I have a mod to stop culling

    And not sure on the rest

        I ultimately deleted the save file actually since it had happened twice and the game was also lagging like crazy after more research I came to the conclusion the save file was currupt

    Serious question. Is this huge bug being investigated by EA?? More and more players seem to have this issue as time goes on.

      Seems like they are hiding behind this bug. Poor customer service if you ask me.

        My issue didn't start until I downloaded For Rent. I am beyond frustrated and highly distraught. This is my legacy of 17 generations. I refuse to believe this is due to file size, and this was caused by For Rent. The second I downloaded For Rent and purchased an apartment, I was getting errors that I had to download a mod to fix (suggested by volunteers on Discord). I restarted this save ten times or so from my backups because the apartments/save kept corrupting, even without mods (which is the EXTREMELY frustrating part). I couldn't demolish them at all, and I couldn't sell the ones I owned. I recovered a save, demolished all the corrupt ones, and left the lots blank. It seemed to solve the problem because my lots were no longer corrupt, but now, especially after Life and Death was released, all the lot types are turning into residential lots, and the builds on those lots have disappeared. This seems to be happening in every world where I placed an apartment. I really want to know if this can be saved before I try a new save file without For Rent because I am over that pack, as much as I wanted to love it. This save is very sentimental because it helped me through some rough patches in my life, and I don't want to have to delete it and "start over." I also get no LEs anytime I visit these lots (in-game or MCCC).
