Purchased Horse Ranch & starting today animals are aging up and dying despite having animal aging turned off in the game options. I never experienced this previously and read this bug was supposedly resolved in the latest update. I have tried repairing my game, toggling the aging on/off, but it continues to age them. This is affecting all animals, cats, dogs, horses, chickens, cows, etc.

@Cornelius-CatThe save I was playing in was one I hadn't played in a while but it wasn't necessarily old either. However, it also wasn't a fresh new save.. I just hadn't played it in a year but I never came across this issue, otherwise. It wasn't until I replaced my chicken coop due to a different issue, that I started noticing birthday balloon thought bubbles appearing above my chickens and chicks heads. I'm going to revert back to a previous version before I replaced the coop. I only replaced the coop due to a discord suggestion after explaining issues with the chickens running away due to not feeling cared for, despite interacting with them, feeding them and cleaning the coop. Now, there's another annoying issue with them aging and dying with aging off. The same thing happens when I bring teen sims to the auditorium in Copperdale to hangout. A few of them who weren't even on the lot, aged up at random. It's likely due to the auditorium being set as graduation even though my sim was there for prom which never triggered. The glitches just pile up.

  • @thecharsims that chicken coop thing sounds similar to when cats get uncomfortable because they want a clean litter box, but their box is clean.

@NotDafina Me too. Animal aging off. Farm animals keep aging and dying. Reaper is coming for my llama and I'm not a bit happy about that. No mods running. Own all packs available to date, and game patched.
