[ARCHIVED] [HR] [CD] [CoL] All animals aging up/dying (aging turned off)

@BostonBull1999 I just had that happen with a chicken. He was a young adult rooster, but when my sim took him to the Finchwick Fair to enter him in a contest, and then returned home, he was suddenly an elder. None of the other chickens on the lot aged up at all. I have all of the various aging options for all sims and animals disabled in my game settings. I don't even have the Horse Ranch pack yet. If something has changed in the game files recently, perhaps it was in a game patch rather than the Horse Ranch pack itself.

P.S. I am using mods, so unfortunately it won't do any good to attach my save file.

Having this issue myself. I got sick of my chickens and cows dying what with it taking so much effort to raise relationship with them, so I unchecked animal aging. It seems like they're aging inconsistently for me? I got all my current animals at the same time but some of them are elders (found out because I got the notification about one of my hens getting on in years) and some of them are young adults. Super super frustrating. It's just a guess but I think there's a chance it'll happen on scene change, as I didn't notice any issues until I recently aged up my child to a teen and started going to school with them.

I'm having this issue. My chicken hasn't died yet but I keep getting pop ups that he is going to die soon even though animal aging is unchecked. Unfortunately I have mods so I don't have a save file to upload.

@Flamesil0cks It's still happening in my game as well. In the most recent incident, I had temporarily switched (abt 3 game-days) to a different household in Chestnut Ridge, and when I switched back to my regular household I see that three chickens and a cow all aged up. All were young adults before the switch and now most are adults, though one hen is now an elder. I hope they are able to figure this one out soon.

Animals still age and die although the tick box for animal aging is unticked (not enabled). I see that others have had this problem previously and that it's requested to start a new thread if we still experience this problem, which I do.

Having this bug as well.
Affects animals that are not dogs, cats, horses.

Edit: I use mods in this save file, so unfortunately can't send it.

I have aging off for animals, and yet every single sim day I receive notifications that the mini goats and sheep are getting on in age and will die soon. They don't age, but everyday I still get the notification.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Befriend some Wild Rabbits with Animal Aging off.
What happens when the bug occurs? Eventually, the rabbits will die, despite aging being off.
What do you expect to see? The rabbits not to die.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I have used CC before but never on this save. I saw there was a thread for this but that it was marked as fixed. I have a video showing the notification for the deceased rabbits plus the setting being off (as it has been in this entire save), but it does not really show anything new other than what I have described.
