I've had the same issue. I play on Xbox one so no mods or anything. I've been able to cope by just buying a new ball for most of my horses but it was impossible to keep up with for my playful horse.
I'm having the same issue, even now in April 2024. It gets kind of annoying, having to re-purchase the ball every time.
I'm having this issue as well. Been going on for several months and it's getting tedious. I feel like there's not enough ways to raise the fun meter for horses. I know riding them helps, but I have a rancher with six horses and two balls, and every time I switch back to play that household, the horses are in fun crisis.
