i don't know how long I have had this error in my game, maybe I just noticed. Even in the aging use for unplayed sims in the game, teen sims can't be young adult. no matter what I do, the problem cannot be solved. I wanted to share it for those who are looking for a temporary solution until ea solution. I found one mod, but I was able to continue my game in this way. " Teen Age Up Bug Fix/Bywoahlookatthesun "
Just noticed this as well and I've been playing with this family quite a while. Guess I just don't pay that much attention. Since i love to play with immortal occult sims, this doesn't bother me too much as I'm surrounded by lots of immortal sims. It does suck that these poor teens will have to spend an eternity in HS though.
For those not playing occult or immortal sims, I can see this being much more of an annoyance as it'd be very noticeable when your grandparents ran into that old friend form HS who is still somehow a teen and not an occult.
It definitely just seems to affect teens that live alone and not living in any world. Basically, teens that the game created specifically for your teen to go to HS with. Guess I could make a halfway house and just chuck lonely teens into it.
I have that too.
The NPC Teenagers don‘t age because they are not actively in the World.
I found this out about managing households, other unplayed households.
I hope this get fixed. Because it‘s boring when you see the same Teenagers for five Generations.
