@A62047 This is gettting beyond a joke, I have a household with a teen sim, one stay at home parents and a dad who works, I send the dad to work and I go with my teen sim to school. I come home and *ALL* of the infant's needs are in the red. The Infant is having a full on screaming fit, while the game tells me to "look after your damn infact or it'll be taken away." However, my sim can't look after the infant because it's too busy throwing a tantrum about being tired hungry, smelly, needing to take a poop etc. so I have to keep resetting the sim before I'm allowed to direct one of the parents to take care of its bloody needs. It's beyond a joke at how neglected they become if you're off home lot because, you want to follow your teen or sim with an active career to work/school.

You might try clicking on a Sim who is still at home and assigning Socialize With the infant instead of the normal Take Care of Self.
NOTE: I'm playing a 1-Sim household right now, so I might not have the right command names. Also, I have not tested this. It's just a suggestion.

My adult sim left the lot for almost the entire day while a teen was still at home with the younger kids, including an infant and two toddlers. The toddlers were OK when my sim got back home, but the infant's fun, social, hunger and bladder needs were all in the red.
