How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Base, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work, Dine Out, Outdoor Retreat, Spooky Stuff,
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Resize any object (bigger or smaller) on the lot outside of the main house/building.
What happens when the bug occurs? "generic error" pop up on screen next to object. Object still resizes and can be placed/moved. Still happens when all cc and mods removed.
What do you expect to see? ??
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Latest patch from 12/12/17
Sorry first post here. Resize any random object outside of the main building/house, in the yard of the lot. "Generic Error" pop up on screen next to object. Object still retains resize and can be placed. Not sure where error is coming from. All CC and Mods removed, and started new game... still happens.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? (this is a bug so @crinrict should not move this to feedback) 1. Enable testingcheats and freebuildmode. 2. Add your sim to Police career. 3. Go to police lot on the work day. 4. Go to build mode(you can do so by step 1), and save the lot to gallery. 5. Go home. 6. Open gallery and place a police lot you saved to your field.
What happens when the bug occurs? Any computers on this residential lot have police related options. Go to build mode and replacing a computer to other one never fix this issue.
What do you expect to see? These police related options should not appear if the lot type is RESIDENTIAL.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Be in live mode and modify an unplayed sim walking by in CAS. Add another sim to the household of the modified sim and return to live mode.
What happens when the bug occurs? The modified household becomes the played household, even if the modified household has no home.
What do you expect to see? To return back to the originally played household and not the modified one.

I don't know what to do or if this is intentional. I was editing an elder because he looked hideous from his clothing and I gave him a cat just for fun, when I came back from CAS, I was as the modified elder and not the family I was playing (They were at a restaurant).

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have a giant mailbox on the outside of one of my lots that I can't seem to get rid of.
What happens when the bug occurs? While I was playing, I was using the TestingCheats On cheat, and shift+clicked the mailbox and accidentally hit "Set As Head". I went to move it off of my Sim, and it just got stuck OUTSIDE of the lot so it's on the sidewalk and I can't reach it at all. In Build/Buy mode, it says there's nothing to delete. I've tried moving my Sims out, destroying the lot, repairing my game, etc. But nothing seems to work. When I set the mailbox as the head now, it just creates another one. I've even tried bb.moveobjects and bb.enablefreebuild and neither worked. None of the modding scripts seem to be updated for the latest patch, either.
What do you expect to see? The mailbox gone!

- Did you try using set as head again and walk back to the lot and then delete it ? Otherwise you'll need a mod to remove it. Check the debug mod over at modthesims.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? The update made it so i can't us the skill updating cheats! Yes, I have testing cheats true on!
What happens when the bug occurs? It does not work and the skill cheats does nothing.
What do you expect to see? the cheats should work when its fixed.

PLEASE HELP! (sims4 problem)
Whenever i try to cheat by using the skill cheat it does not work! I have cheats enabled, and this happend because the update i think. Others have the same problem! thanks,

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Open any lot in build mode. 2. Place "Adult Mannequin". 3. Click placed mannequin. 4. Push [SHIFT] + "]" key.
What happens when the bug occurs? The mannequin don't resize.
What do you expect to see? Other items can be resized, so why not mannequin? Usage: Make a big sim statue / make a small simself figure
