So like a lot of people I lost all my relationships with the most recent update, unfortunately I can't recover without loosing months of gameplay (my own fault, I saved a bunch of times before I noticed the issue) but I'm trying to manually restore everyones relationships using modifyrelationships, and for some reason it only works for romance_main not friendship_main. I've used the cheat many times before, so I know how to use it, and its just not working at all.If anyone has any idea why or how to fix it I'd appreciate it.

I just got out of a chat with someone at EA and they have pretty much said it's not going to be a big priority for them as they "Don't normally support cheats" and just as i was replying the adviser disconnected the chat! this may a problem that lasts for a while. it's like EA don't acknowledge the fact that around 90% of sims users use cheats at some point during the game play. I could understand this issue being low down on a list if the game was some how being manipulated in regards to online play but the sims has had this feature since the original game! i hope and expect that this problem is going to cause sales to drop in their next expansion pack launches if the cheats haven't been fixed by then. poor show

As of today (it worked yesterday), with the Cats and Dogs expansion pack, the modify friendship relationship cheat is not working for me but the romance one is. I even copied the romance one that worked and modified the word to friendship and it didn't work. I am mod free, so I know its not a mod issue.

For the past few days since the update cheats, specifically for skills are not working. I read three days ago they are aware of the issue and I've been trying to be patient. However I haven't found any new information. Is there a time line for when this will be fixed? It would be great if I could actually play the games I've paid for. This is ridiculous!

Friendship_main cheat continues to not work as of Nov 11. Game is patched, all saves and mods removed, repaired the game. Still not working. I hope the next patch fixes this 🙂

What happens when the bug occurs? Does not modify the friendship between sims. Will do this for romance but not for friendship.
What do you expect to see? The green friendship bar change to 100%
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. It was working before Cats and Dogs. Just finished building the mansion and will not work now.

Is there a fix for a sim or pet that has a space in their first name. My cats first name is Boris Yeltsin and his last name is Gibson but when trying modifyrelationship Elizabeth Gibson Boris Yeltsin Gibson 100 LTR_SimtoPet_Friendship_Main nothing happens I have also tried his name as BorisYeltsin Gibson and Boris_Yeltsin Gibson

Only fix is to rename in CAS/CAP.

Thank you. It worked. I just wish they did something for Sims and Pets who have a space in either their first or last name or both.

I can't even get it too work now for the romance. and now my romance interactions aren't working properly either. I don't know what to do.

How are they not working properly ? The romance one is the same as it was before. Did you add any mods to your game ?
