this is regarding sims 4 Journey to Batuu and got as far as the chewbacca rescue mission and it just won't work. i tried everything and when i searched it up so many others have had this issue. it's not that the game is loading it's that the sim goes into the X wing and the action just says waiting and then my sim disappears but she's still doing her own thing (sleeping, eating etc) i just can't see her and she's "still on the mission". I have tried with a droid in there, restarting the game, repairing the game, resetting objects etc. just nothing will work. I know i'm not the only one who has had this issue.
So I was having the same problem and got the mission to work by spamming start the mission when Vi was there, and eventually she boarded. Most importantly though, I disabled the droid while inside the X-Wing. For whatever reason, that allowed me to complete the mission, albeit without the droid's help. I was successful because I had other supplies, so as long as you are prepared otherwise I think you can get this mission done.
It is frustrating that I needed to remove the droid to get it to work though.
