[ARCHIVED] [LD] Bucket List: None of the Goals fulfilling

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.110.311.1020 dx11
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of the packs, expansions and stuff packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have sim start a bucket list, have a goal. Mine is to befriend, fight or woohoo a vampire. He now has 3 vampire friends, and goal not completed. My other sim wants to be friend a dolphin, goal not completed.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing, goal isn't reached
What do you expect to see? The next goal
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I cannot complete the bucket list goals. My sims wants to befriend, fight or woohoo a vampire. He has 3 vampire friends now, and the goal is not completed. My other sim wants to befriend a dolphin. This goal is not complete either

    yeah none of them were working i just used the vow renewal as an example since its straightforward. i also had spend a full day in san myshuno, ride around on a boat for 3 hours, and hot tub woohoo. none fulfilled when i did them

    @tillimetyou Is your Sim some kind of occult or already a ghost ?

    Can you test if the same happens with another Sim ?

    Any mods/cc ?

    Same issue here. None of the goals were completing. I removed all my mods and repaired the game.

    Then I tested it by having my sim write the perfect goal of hot tub woohoo and let them complete that goal. But it doesn't complete on the bucket list. I can send my save game if that helps? I've had the problem since the last update that came with the cozy event.

    Edit: my sims' husband could complete goals without problems. It was just my main sim that has a problem. Both sims came from the gallery, but my main sim was a spellcaster when I got her, and I changed her back to a regular sim in CAS before placing her in the world. Maybe that's the problem.

    I don’t know if this is the right thread or not, but…

    I spent from 9am to midnight at the Deadgrass Discovery Museum and it didn’t count. (Both my twins got twin bucket list items to spend the day in Brindleton Bay and neither had it tick off.) The tooltip said “Spend a day,” so how long do I need to stay?


    Other goals do tick off, but I’m also having issues with the woohoo goals glitching out (the Sims reset and do not woohoo) in the sauna, etc. It seems to work better on a home lot than a public lot. 

    (Full disclosure: I do have mods. In fact, I got mad and cheated completing this goal using UI cheats.)

    [edited to add] I got spend a day in the bay with another Sim and placed a vacation rental. The answer to “How long do I need to stay?” is apparently 24 hours. So this was user error on my part. 

    That said… I still think “day trip” implies you’ll be home 24 hours later. Perhaps I’m being overly literal, but… https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/day%20trip#

    @StacyC83 I have the same issue. None of my bucket list goals are being checked off. I had a goal to spend the day outside. I spent over 24 hours outside, and it didn't complete. I also had a goal to climb to the top of Mt. Komorebi. I completed the excursion, got to the top, and even spent some time there. Nothing. No mods or CC.

    As soon as I became best friends, the friends with a Vampire worked.  They just need to update the wording.
