I'm also having problems with Rebirth. My Sim completed their Life's Journey, getting the Burning Soul trait. I was excited to rebirth them in the Baleful Bog, but when I do, they stick around swimming in the bog aimlessly, and I can no longer control them. It doesn't even take me into CAS. When I go to Manage Worlds and go back into the household, the Sim turns into an infant and disappears forever. For context, I don't have any mods installed and I have all the packs, except for a few CAS kits. I even tried saving the Sim to the Gallery and trying in a different save but it doesn't work like it should.

@crinrict I cured the fear of swimming, and when I tried again, this time, he goes into the bog, and even though his portrait icon remains, he disappears and it still doesn't take me to CAS to initiate the Rebirth. Should I try removing some other trait? Or is this more of a bug fix for the devs?
Hey, so i had the same issue where she would swim in the bog, give me the dialogue and then disappear. Thank God I have MCCC and it triggered an error which I sent them on Discord and they told me to remove the Romantic Sage trait. It worked. Seeing as you also have this one, do try it. Hopefully it will work for you as well 🙂
