My Sim has completed the entire soul journey, but can't respawn. When the message "Yes, Reebirth now" is confirmed, instead of the loading screen, the Sim disappears, it will still be visible in the family bar. Once you select another Sim, there is no way to select them again. (I apologize for the mistakes. English is not my language.)

I've just ran into the same issue! The sim I tried to rebirth disappeared and I couldn't do any actions with her anymore. All of her relationships disappeared and that was it.
This is due to certain trait.
These traits have currently been identified as being a problem
Remove those traits before the rebirth. Use the cheat in the parentheses to remove
For Console players: You should be save to use this as they don't require testingcheats.
When I got to the purple pond to rebirth my sim it does not take me to the option to manage worlds and to actually rebirth. Then When I come back to the game, my sim is gone and I end up having to load and older saved file to get my sim back. This happened after my earlier issues... I am so frustrated, my sim would not die. The reaper kept showing up during the death experience only to make my sim alive again without the death flower and without any other sim trying to plead the death. I am livid. I paid my hard earned money for this and can't even play the content.
This is happening to me too and I am pretty mad about this 😤
Anytime that I try & rebirth my ghost sim (whether by pop-up options after dying and getting reaped or swimming in the lake) they disappear and doesn't go onto the step into rebirthing my sim. I waited for an hour to see if it'll load up CAS but nope. I had to go to the main menu and just play with my ghost occult sim until I got bored and send them off to the netherworld. Very boring and very disappointing to me,

I had a sim eligible for rebirth disappear from the game when she went in the bog. There was no pop up screen with options for her placement. I looked for her in her house. I found the objects from her inventory and her grave but nothing else. I really would like to have her in my game because she is my favorite legacy sim. Please help.
Any updates on fixing this bug?
