Please use this thread going forward: Save Game Corruption (Disappearing Lots/Error 800 or 801) | EA Forums - 5037272
Today, after not opening my game for a while I decided to update and go into one of my favorite saves.
I have been building the world and the story of that save for quite some time now, but to my dismay, after the game had finished updating and I went back into my game I found that the majority of the lots I had placed over the time of my gameplay had changed back to EA default lots. IDK what could've gone wrong; I do use mods and cc but I removed them before updating and made sure to replace any of them that had been updated since the last time I played.
I have removed the mods and cc and gone back to check if that did anything but the lots were still the EA default ones, I did not save the game at all since I noticed the disappearing lots;
I hope someone has an idea of how to fix this because honestly, I'm so close to just stop playing completely.
