I don't know which patch fixed the problem, but the moon seems to be solid, but some worlds the moon is still low quality.

Unfortunately, new errors have crept in.

  • In Henford-on-Bagley (perhaps also in some worlds) the moons are now overlapped
  • And when it's cloudy, the moon is black

I had this moon problem too. And I believe it's Sep 2024 patch because I didn't have this issue before.

From my experience, I found this overlapped moon in...

  • San Myshuno (my first found)
  • Windenburg
  • Tomarang

All were tested after removing mods. (But not a new game folder)

I want to test all worlds but it's hard because if it's cloudy, I can't see the moon

(I can't change the weather easily without a mod).

However, some world doesn't have a problem in same time.

  • Willow Creek (new low-quality moon after moon phase patch)
  • Forgotten Hollow (unique yellow moon)

So, it's a different situation in each world.

    (I can't change the weather easily without a mod).

    Dr Junes weather machine do not require mods to work. You find it in BB (requires Seasons).

      Thank you for advice. I forgot that there is item for changing weather. I will try it next time.

        I also noticed now recently the moon visuals are bugging out, I'm having a DOUBLE-Moon in Tomarang, on PC:
