As of May 24, 2022 (growing together update) this still seems to be a bug! I will place items with MOO / alt place them and when I reload the game & go into build ,mode, certain items will be gone. Even noticing it on duplicated items (ex: placing 2 cabinets - one left, one right -- only the left one will be gone when the game is reopened.

There is no household on this lot and I'm only accessing the lot through build mode
