Moveobjects (Moo) Causing items to disappear

Did you check the household inventory ?

Do you have backups or save the house to your library for save keeping ?

I was working on it in free build mode on a lot in Willow Creek - there's no household attached to the build so there is no inventory.

I am somewhat new to the library/gallery feature so I have not saved/uploaded it there unfortunately... wasn't sure if saving to my library would make it public or what. I didn't want it to upload a partial build to the public gallery. Lesson learned I guess...😞

Also meant to add to initial post - I checked for updates and there is nothing available; running the most current version of the game (and no custom content or mods used of course where I'm on console).

I used to play on PC (Mac OS) years ago but when I got Xbox Series X, I found it performed extremely well so I made the switch. Have never had any issues with the console version up until now. No bugs that I was aware of and hardly any glitches (minor if any at all). Super disappointed that this is happening now... on this build of all builds....

I'm afraid there wouldn't be a way to restore a previous version of your save game, but did you place these items down using the moveobjects on cheat? 

The content should still be within the save I would think? I haven't re-saved it at all. Closed it without save as soon as I realized there was missing content. I had loaded my save, went to the lot and noticed right away that select items were missing. The only cheat I have used is moveobjects, which would have been active when I placed these items and many of the other items that are still present.

I have been working on this for weeks and have never had anything disappear from the build. The only difference is the addition of the new pack today. Just doesn't make sense to me! I want to make sure that once I sink more time into the game that this won't happen again. I have spent hundreds of dollars on this game since January and it's super disappointing and discouraging to be having issues like this all of a sudden.  

Having same exact problem!! This is getting really frustrating and makes me not want to play the game sometimes.

A couple of objects (mostly lighting & clutter/decor ) keep disappearing between saves and reloads. I'm mostly a builder type of Sims player, so it's incredibly frustrating when I spend a week perfectly curating and making a room full of carefully selected objects/decor, for it to disappear one by one every couple of loads and reopen the game. It's gotten to the point where I have to upload every single room to my library and screenshot all 4 walls of each and every room in case an item gets deleted. Some rooms are perfectly unaffected, while others are missing lots of different items. They seem to go missing when on Live Mode, but I have noticed a couple missing when reloading or reopening into Build Mode.

As mentioned, the items are mostly decorations such as plants, sculptures, clutter, and art (from what I've noticed). Both content from base game and packs and CC. I noticed this started happening at the beginning of last month, but disregarded it as I thought it could be fixed with the upcoming patches.

That started to happen to me once I bought For Rent! I wonder if it has to do with the corrupted file bug from FR.
