@Clarohine If you completely bulldoze one of the lots and place a new building on it, do you have the same issue? You don't need to save your progress after doing so, in fact please don't: it's better if you preserve the game's automatic backups, in case you need them later, and saving erases the oldest backup.
Please also let me know whether you use mods or custom content.
I do still have the same issue even if I bulldoze the lots. I do have cc in my game but, I've tried to remove all of it to see if that was the reason, but it made no difference. I added some screenshots of the orange triangles in case I wasn't able to explain it properly.
I highly appreciate your answer. I'm open to try legitimately anything to make my game work as normal again, so I'm thankful for any ideas.

@Clarohine Just to be thorough, please move your entire Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. On one of the affected lots, change its lot type to something commercial/community-based, e.g. a gym or park, then back to residential. Use "save as" to rename the save, quit, reload, and see whether the lot behaves normally.
