Hello friends disappointed by EA.
For my part, I tried absolutely everything to make the game work with the new pack for rent. Nothing worked because just entering build mode can corrupt the save.
For the moment the only viable solution is to deactivate the rental pack while waiting for a functional patch. Perhaps some will prefer to request a refund.
Our bug is just one of many that have appeared with the rental pack.
Really sad to lose a new world, there are never enough worlds in this game.
The Sims 4 was a source of disappointment for me. It's time for all the simmers to go play some new games. Many will be released in 2024, 2025, 2026. I think as long as EA dominates the market and continues to sell well, they won't try hard enough.
For the sake of our favorite franchise, stop buying.
