I have noticed this too. if I add a household or a lot i have to delete either sims or lots or if i decorate or add a household to a lot that has been empty . if i delete households i dont really play or lots i dont really play the exclamation points go away. but im at the point i dont want to delete anymore and tired of everytime i make a change i have to check all the worlds before i can save. I also noticed once my sims visit the highschool it happens again.now the really messed up part this is not exact.I saved after checking everything was fine, and still next time I opened the save there were the exclamation point again same lot in willow creek. dont just save..always save as everytime you make a change or play a household. Sick of this

I make it a habit to save my lots and sims to gallery everytime i work on them before I do a save as just in case the save is corrupt before I notice

I mean, if I have to keep on stressing about saving everything separately, and then also spend who knows how much time putting things into a new save, cheating relationships back to normal etc, then well… I prefer not to play ☺️ which is how’s it been since my save got corrupted after buying for rent. There are lots of much better games out there, I’m not gonna spend any more money on something that broken lol

As I mentioned before, a bigger problem we have is that we can know if our saved game was corrupted by the error or not when we see an exclamation mark on any lot that is in plain sight, but as I already said, hidden lots like the police , hospital, the laboratory, Sixam, the forgotten grotto and others can also be damaged, and many of these lots cannot be traveled freely unless you use a mod or have a sim that is a police officer or a doctor or a scientist.
In short, this error is really annoying and dangerous.
