I mean, if I have to keep on stressing about saving everything separately, and then also spend who knows how much time putting things into a new save, cheating relationships back to normal etc, then well… I prefer not to play ☺️ which is how’s it been since my save got corrupted after buying for rent. There are lots of much better games out there, I’m not gonna spend any more money on something that broken lol
As I mentioned before, a bigger problem we have is that we can know if our saved game was corrupted by the error or not when we see an exclamation mark on any lot that is in plain sight, but as I already said, hidden lots like the police , hospital, the laboratory, Sixam, the forgotten grotto and others can also be damaged, and many of these lots cannot be traveled freely unless you use a mod or have a sim that is a police officer or a doctor or a scientist.
In short, this error is really annoying and dangerous.

I am very frustrated, tired, upset and stubborn about this damn bug, I really don't intend to spend any more money buying anything from the game until they fix this bug.
I have been testing and always checking every time I do something during the game, both mine and my wife and daughter's, in case any plot gets corrupted, and at the moment I did not have any broken where they normally get corrupted first, which is Magnolia Promenade, Oasis Springs and Willow Creek, (I was already happy) well "surprise" I dedicated myself to continuing my game and when I traveled to Mt. Komorebi to climb the mountain, it turns out that the lot at the top was corrupted, I I said "Ok, it's not a lot that interests me very much" I continued playing and moved the sim to Selvadorada and it turns out that the bar was also corrupted, I closed the game because I was so upset and frustrated.
Everyone be very careful with this problem, and the advice I give you is to have a copy of the saved files, because once a lot is corrupted it is like a virus that multiplies in the rest of the game.

I think everyone on here shares your frustration mate and most people have stopped playing the game. There is no known fix and only EA can resolve it however they choose to ignore the issue and keep fleecing customers for new packs/expansions. I havent played the game in nearly 2months due to the issue and i only check back in to see if EA have responded on this thread or to see if they are actually doing something about it. The main issue is that EA have sidelined their longstanding customer base as a result of this. The majority of people who have this issue have invested alot of money into every pack/expansion that EA has released for Sims over the years (including previous Sims games).
Customers don't forget when a company doesn't fix their broken products and EA has lost a lot of loyal customers over this.

It’s even better than anyone could imagine! You people wanted fix for the crucial error in the game that is corrupting saves?
EA will give you in the latest patch (pay attention!): ’Cart emblazoned button’ so it’s easier for you to buy extra stuff!
This icon pulsates obnoxiously and you can't stop it! That is beyond me what is being done here.
No fix, people can’t play their game and you are doing something like this (which is HORRIBLE idea BTW).
Do you have any shame, EA? This is wild, just wild.

EA have gone mad, completely out of touch with their customers.
Fix the damn game before rolling out these stupid features.

@TheSimsDirect Please, it continues to rain people with this damn error, the saved games of more and more players continue to be corrupted, this error has been going on for years and seriously they have not done anything about it, it is unfortunate what you do as a company, you make it very clear that only It is interesting to make money and not the quality of the products, much less the customers.
And we are not talking about an error that corrupts an action in the game but at least you can continue playing, we are talking about an error that corrupts an entire game progress of years.

Yeah I stopped playing starting over just to risk it happening again is absurd. I will not be buying their pack that comes out this week
