I'm sorry to hear that. It's a great game. I hope you'll reconsider and play again at some point. I was pretty much devastated when my game corrupted last year. Losing a save that I had played nearly every day since early 2017 really hurt. But I love the game, so I salvaged what I could and started a new save. After 10 months, I haven't seen any indications that the corruption issue is going to show up again. I've been watching for it but other than the known bugs, most of which have reported here, there's been no sign of it and my save is fine. So, don't let something like that cause you to abandon the game.

No, it’s not a great game; it’s buggy beyond comprehension. Many of us in this thread stopped playing since for rent, because the constantly coming back corruption destroys the enjoyment.
