I’m having this issues too. I have no idea when it happened but I noticed that happened with an adult sim and my Sims teenage daughter. I have two families living in one household, so the two of them aren’t related but he’s an adult and she is a teenager. I asked to just be friends and that got rid of it but it keeps happening randomly. I even got rid of the loyal trait because I thought that it was connected to that. A while ago, I noticed that my Sam had a relationship bar with her toddler. I put a cheating and all that did was turn it red, and now it is labelled as “it’s complicated” even now when I aged her up to a child, that bar is still there as very complicated
