[ARCHIVED] Party Animal Aspiration doesn't register that a party has been thrown

I finally made it through to the Gala Had portion (social events in 10 locations, 3 silver medals), now it's registering social events in different places, but I'm not getting credit for either gold or silver medals toward the silver medal requirement.

Looks like this is one I'm going to have to skip until it's fixed. Also still on 1/5 parties thrown even though I've had about 4.

I can't get any of the parties to register. I have done every social event. I thought maybe I have to throw five and then it will count or maybe throw five of the same party?

I had this problem too. One the Throw 5 parties one, I managed to do this, only gold parties registered as parties thrown.

I'm now through to stage 3/4 and have glitches again.

Throw 15 social events 1/15 - I've done 9

Attend 15 social events 9/15 - This one's correct

Earn gold on 3 social events - 0/3 - I've got 5

I've tried throwing events at different places, different types of party, prestige and non-prestige events. Any other ideas?

My Sim cannot complete Party Animal because the Earn Silver on 3 Thrown Parties is stuck at 2/3.  I've had many parties with it at 2/3 both gold and silver.  IDK if it has anything to do with this bug, but I moved my sim to a different lot when at 2/3.  I also tried changing aspirations to something else, restarting sims 4 and then changing back to Party Animal, but that didn't help.  Please fix this counter bug.

Exact same situation as Lauraboots.  I got through the other steps in this aspiration just fine - the bug only started for me on the last step with "throw 15" and "attend 25" and "3 gold", which I reached a few days ago.

1. Change the active aspiration to any other no matter if you solved it or not (for example gardening)

2. Save the game.

3. Exit to desktop.

4. Start Sims 4 and press continue

5. Return the active aspiration back on party animal

The cause: update 10/1/2014 got the counter stuck if that aspiration (happens also with some other aspirations like renaissance sim) was active but still uncompleted on a sim prior to the patch.

This is a BIG problem. 

This sucks big time ☹️
