I would like to provide a bit more information on my rotational play to help understand this error more. I usually time everything in my rotational play to be based around Sunday as it is the first day of the week. This means I rotate to the new household on Sunday at 6am and I even plan pregnancies so that way children age up to teens on Sunday and then teens age up to YA on Sunday. This made me think that perhaps it has to do with the day of the week that the teens are aging up. Believe it or not, my theory was correct.
I decided to test this on every day of the week with two different households and here is what I found:
Sunday - Results in LE and no character values being applied
Monday - Results in no LE, everything works as intended
Tuesday - Results in no LE, everything works as intended
Wednesday - Results in no LE, everything works as intended
Thursday - Results in no LE, everything works as intended
Friday - Results in no LE, everything works as intended
Saturday - Results in no LE, everything works as intended
As you can see from the results above, Sunday is the only day of the week where this error actually occurs. I couldn't tell you why Sunday is the only day this bug occurs, but I can say that after thorough testing the results can be repeated continually for me. Weird eh? I even turned aging off temporarily to push a family into Monday and then blew out the candles and it worked just fine. Seems like I am going to have to made Saturday the day that children and teens age up. I usually do it this way so the teens can spend 3 full weeks in classes and have time to study for the exams since I keep teens busy with after school activities as well as part-time jobs for some.
EDIT: I would like to add that I do believe that this error is, in fact, related to the error reported about not receiving the third trait when aging a teen up to YA. I encounter that error as well as not getting the results from the character values once I remove MCCC from my game. The only difference that I have from others that have reported about the missing third trait is that I can go into CAS and add the missing trait. I am wondering if those people reporting the third trait issue simply overlooked not receiving the proper character values.
@RipRizzle I too was aging up my teens that had this issue on a Sunday. I've been aging my teens up on Fridays more recently, so that may be why I've not noticed it before (I tend to keep my households in different saves vs playing rotationally in the same save). Though the main difference in my case is that mine did get their traits with no mods/only MCCC, though I only tested those two options once each as I was trying to go through to test if it was any of the other mods I had, but I wasn't actually able to narrow it down as it happened a few times once I started adding the other mods. So perhaps it was a fluke that it worked then as it did seem random with the other mods.
Best regards,
Jennifer
