This is the exact issue I’ve been having! It’s beyond irritating and it makes building in Sims 4 a mess! I don’t have the patience to scroll through all the options when I have a majority of the packs!!
I keep turning down my pointer speed lower and lower because it's scrolling so fast still. It's been like this now for an unacceptable amount of time. It's a massive problem with poor grip.
Also because there is another bug that causes the wrong sections to open up, the only way to select flooring and wall coverings is to open up the entire section. Because as I already reported, if I select Floor Tiles it opens Wood Flooring instead. So I have to open up the entire section of flooring. Then I have to try and scroll the whole section which isn't working properly. It's taken so long just to choose anything. It's also really unpleasant on the eyes as it moves to fast. It's causing pain with my RSI and joint problems and causing eye irritation. I've reported it on the Accessibility thread already several weeks ago.
Yet another bug means that the old scrolling function returns occasionally and it's such a relief when it does.
