@Pantheracus I’m also having this issue on PS4 - I wanted to make changes to a random townie who spawned with a cat, but I couldn’t confirm the changes & leave the CAS menu because it wanted me to enter a breed for their cat. But nothing happened when I clicked on the text box, forcing me to exit CAS without saving.

@FinalBossNyuma Can you load that household back up and see if pressing the home button on the DS4 then pressing it again to being the game up causes the virtual keyboard to appear so you can edit the pet breed?
- 5 years ago@PoptartJuniper I’ve just tried your suggestion - the text box remains inaccessible. 😞 Even after multiple attempts it remains greyed out & never prompts my keyboard.

@FinalBossNyuma Thanks so much for checking and getting back! Can you just select the pet and assign a breed from the breed menu?
- 5 years ago@PoptartJuniper Yes I can - I’m unfamiliar with the pets CAS, but as far as I’m aware choosing a breed spawns an entirely different cat with a breed name a single trait (unsure if that’s intended or not). If there’s a way to select a breed without changing the pre-existing pet then I’ve not yet figured out how. 😲

I am having the same issue witha oet my Sims adopted after I left to work on another household. The home button for the console does not work so I hope people stop suggesting it. I’m just going to leave world without saving anything since I can’t even save game at this point. Then adopt that stupid dog out as soon as I get back in it.
