This is happening for me now. I am up to the tasks where you need to purchase a fruit seed packet. Every single time I have done that and when I save and close my game then re open it the tasks are reset as if I made no progress when I most definitely did. It's beyond frustrating at this point and I'm starting to wonder if I should even bother trying to complete it.
- I am having the identical problem, and it's reached the point where I no longer care about completing the reaper quests. I have gotten as far as planting apples and cherries and then catching fish for fertilizer before coming back to the game and finding that I'm back to the first quest again. I do not have any custom content or mods; antivirus is AVG. One side-effect - about four items are showing as claimable (the four that come after the Grimaphone) due to points that I've earned, but cannot be claimed.
