Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Get a phone call from a married sim, saying they broke up with their partner.
What happens when the bug occurs? A married sim calls to say that they broke up with their partner, but the actual breakup never happens. When you look at their info page they#re still a couple, and when asked they answer that they are still married.
What do you expect to see? I expect the couple to actually break up, like they say they are.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Three times in a row now I've had the same thing happen. I get a phone call from a married sim saying they broke up, but whenever I check to see if it actually happened it appears that the information was false, see attached screenshots. Twice with the Thorne-Bailey couple and once with the Nadir couple. If the breakup is a thing that is supposed to be able to happen between married NPC Sims it would stand to reason that the couple would actually break up and not just say they do. It would even be preferable if they split households as well, but I do understand if that kind of coding is too much to ask for.

Can I ask if you have the Romance Changes option activated in Neighbourhood Stories? And does activating or deactivating it affect this issue in any way, or does it still happen anyway?
Hi! I'm SimmerStar4 (they/them). I'm not an expert on game issues, so don't take me as one! I'm just a Sims player who wants to try and help fellow players, and who finds game bugs and issues interesting. A lot of issues following the Lovestruck patch (23 July) have already been reported. @SimmerStar4Thank you for your reply, I just checked my game and all Neighborhood Stores options are available, see attached picture for reference. I have not yet had the time to check if the classic "turn it off and on again" works for this problem, but I will keep it in mind when I play the game again later.
