No I have not found any solutions to this issue yet. I'm hoping they fix it in the next patch.
i have done some testing on this.
some one said dates stop it from decaying.
i have tested that i sent my sims on a date they got a gold star the next day relationship decayed all the way to full red bar.
so dates still do nothing as it will decay anyway.
second thing some one said to have turn on as they overpowered and it will stop the bar from suddenly going red.
well i did a test on that i gave my sims the right turn on so they be attracted to each other and what do you guess in like 12 hours the bar went full red even tho
they had a very satisfied relation ship they kissed and flirted with each over alot and they where turned on by each other.
so yeah the two fixes i heard of did nothing in my game within hours it went full red despite doing dates and being turned on and very satisfied relationships.
so yeah i think it bugged and needs to be fixed as it is game breaking if you have a romantic relationship as it will destroy the relationship in a matter of sim hours
I do not have the Lovestruck pack ( or mods or cc) but I have noticed that by all accounts, both of my sims should be "deeply in love".. All relationship bars are maxed, they go on lots of dates and only one is deeply in love....I even tried to use the cheat because I cannot fathom why my own sim isn't madly in love with her partner. He also lost his smitten sentiment on a reload of a save where both enamored sentiments were maxed and brand new. This new expansion/base game update has really broken all sorts of things. I STILL cannot pay the bills. (its been at least two irl weeks) Also, my sims keep losing friendships for no reason. No red bars thankfully but strong friendship contacts have evaporated from my sims friendship panels. I am always up for a challenge but when I am trying to have a story of two sims who were close bonded bestfriends turned into a strong power couple and one just won't fall deeply in love, it's frustrating. Frankly two compatible and close sims who go on dates at least 2-3 times a week, no rifts or infidelity, they should be in love. I have seen this sort of thing play out minorly in the past, and its always been fixed (for the most part) and seriously, I love the sims but CAN IT STOP UNINENTIONALLY BREAKING MY REAL HEART???? Sorry, I know you guys are looking at it all. Like I said, I am just way frustrated and want my sims to be in love before they get married and have a dozen children. When the sentiment cheats do not even work, I can tell the game is really broken. We should be able to manipulate our games as we see fit for our stories. Like, the lot break bug: my sim is a global superstar, cannot attend the Starlight Accolades, cannot go to the lounge to place her star tile because the lot breaks every time I try to load into it. These bugs are terrible. 💔
