I’ve just started dealing with this bug too, it makes the gameplay really hard to enjoy as most of my Sims have some kind of romantic relationship. Especially as it depletes my Sims’s get negative moodlets.
The bar will deplete, refill and go back and forth within seconds. Sometimes it stops for awhile if I reload the game and I can cheat their previous level back. I hope this gets fixed soon.
