Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go inside any house, preferably with zoom, and notice that rain and snow are coming through the roof.
What happens when the bug occurs? Rain and snow, at any intensity, are entering houses, even if they have a roof and a ceiling.
What do you expect to see? I hope it doesn't rain or snow inside the house.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

After the latest game update, released today 01/14/2025, weather effects like rain and snow are getting inside houses, even if there is a ceiling or roof. Both rain and snow will pass through the ceiling/roof regardless of the intensity.
I am having the same issue for all my households. So far nothing gets wet, but the drops can be seen entering my house through the ceiling.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have it be raining or thunderstorming at any lot, and go through any of the floors above basement.
What happens when the bug occurs? Rain effect don't spawn splash effects onto any surface other than the terrain and rain effect visually goes through all ceilings, walls, furnishings.
What do you expect to see? Rain effect goes invisible past walls and spawns splash effects on surfaces.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes. The new update that came out with the UI refresh.

This may also affect snow, but I have not tested it. I did restart the game and loaded older saves and reloaded the current save. Not going to restart my main save quite yet, nor reinstall the game since I can't backup yet. No indoor sims are affected and no indoor furnishings are affected, durability of Servos are unaffected indoors, and Play in Rain interaction is unaffected. Indoor rain muffle is unaffected.
Just checked my updated game and the rain does show inside. But only visually.
I'm getting this as well.
