[ARCHIVED] [SE] Mountain Excursion: Onsen Lot shows as generic Llama pic

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.375.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All Except FFK
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? If you try to plan an excursion event for the mt. komorebi, you can't select the Onsen as the starting point and shows the generic llama. (Older saves are affected)
What happens when the bug occurs? The Excursion is unable to be set as the onsen, and the event isn't planned due to a lack of location
What do you expect to see? Being able to select the onsen as a starting point
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

(I filled out the bug report only with information that was an issue at the time)

I found a fix for the mountain excursion showing up as a generic llama when planning an excursion event in advance, making the event unplayable. even with the latest patch. (This is different from the older thread where it was canceled)

This is only if you've tried everything thing to fix it as this is a last resort and you don't want to start over.

You'll have to disable the pack and reenable it.

Before you do this, Make sure you back up your save in case something happens, this is important! You also have to make sure you load the save so when the ep is disabled, it won't remove any assets from your sims or your sims house.

You'll lose any relations you have in Mt. Komorebi, so if you married, divorced, or spoke to any of the residents, ties won't stay since they were linked to that world (but if you move them out before you do this, they'll be fine, they have to be in families that are marked as played or they will be deleted, I've made sure) If you don't care about this, you can ignore this.

1) Make a backup save so it's the main one you see on the main menu

2) Open origin, click on the game and select game properties, select the advance options tab and locate the command line argument.

3) Type in -disablepacks: without quotes and the number is EP10 without spaces

4) Open the sims 4 and click resume it'll open as a load save screen, select the save with the missing pack data, it'll warn you the game might be unplayable if you save it in this state, that's fine, don't 'play' the family household, just save and quit (don't select a sim to resume gameplay is what I mean by 'play' in this instance)

5) Open back up Origin and get rid of the command line EP10 and reopen the game

6) Open the file you back up and saved over, if you've done everything right, it'll be fixed. Make sure to delete the families of Mt. Komorebi that were placed into this world or you'll have doppelgangers walking around (and if you want, you can place them back in their respective homes, but that's up to you)

I think what happens is something gets corrupted with new packs on older saves and disabling it fixes whatever went wrong. the little icon shows as generic when it's set up on the calendar, but the event works as planned and can be completed. (I did add a picture with the generic llama on the map, my guess is that it's supposed to show a rock climbing icon)

I don't know if anyone else was having this problem, I didn't notice it on the boards but I figured I'd put it out for people that do.
