[ARCHIVED] Sim stuck reacting to becoming a ghost

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.110.265.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansion packs, game packs, stuff packs and kits
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have your Sim die, I suppose.
What happens when the bug occurs? My Sim is stuck reacting to becoming a ghost to the point where other tasks are being cancelled. I have removed all mods (I had TOOL and MCCC) but the bug persists. I have tried to reset the Sim (shift+left click and select reset object) but the bug isn't fixed. I then managed to revive my Sim but still she is stuck reacting to becoming a ghost (even though she is a normal Sim now).
What do you expect to see? The Sim not stuck reacting to becoming a ghost, cancelling any other task they are given.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

    Yes, I did. I have restarted the game several times and my sim is still stuck.

    Before. I enabled mods option per habit but ended up disabling them again as there was a conflict with TOOL (MCCC was updated for this new patch but I didn't really want to risk it) and when I loaded the game back up, my Sim ended up dying because she got hysterical from watching TV and got stuck reacting to becoming a ghost. I thought it was just bugged out, since new updates for any game usually always comes with one or two bugs so I got some of the vitality nectar and managed to revive her (I had to manually put the bottle in her inventory as I got it from the Gallery since the action got cancelled if it wasn't) but even now, when she's alive, she's still reacting to becoming a ghost (she's alive again). She's got the "The Possibilites Are Endless" moodlet that will last for 8 in-game hours so I might end up trying to get rid of it to see if that will make her stop her loop but I haven't tried yet.

    @Deerling Would be interesting to see if it happens for all ghosts in your game or if it was a one off.

    I killed one off, a normal sim and there was no loop. I'm not sure if it was because my original sim is a werewolf or what happened but I attempted to kill this one off in a fresh save. When I went to kill the same sim off in the save with the original sim, my game crashed, lol. So it seems that it was just a fluke for that one but like I said, I don't know if it was because she is a werewolf or what happened.

    I’ve had the same problem and my aim was a spellcaster. It must be a glitch with occult sims!

    Going to tag this as occult and ROM/W for now. If it also happens with Vamps, Aliens or whatever other occult, please let me know.
