I'm also having this issue but it's only if another sim is out as well. So, for example, Sim A will go to work and Sim B will stay home. I have Sim B go out to get coffee or to visit a friend. When Sim B returns home, Sim A will also return home from work even though they have a few more hours left on their shift. It happens every single time and it affects their work performance which is frustrating.
