Sim won’t finish writing book, just cancellation just before finishing, tell them to resume and they stop again, try starting a new book and it reoccurs. Only started after last update. Xbox no mods.
My Sim will actually 'finish' the book. The book will get to the end and will not complete if I don't have the Sim doing the writing selected. For instance, I have Arya writing a book. I go to Zander to do the gardening. I go back to Arya and she's still writing. I go back and forth, but... if I don't get to Arya by the time she gets to the end of writing the book, the book will not complete. If I try to have her resume writing, she will not resume. She just cancels it out. I have to have her scrap the book and then rewrite the book. As long as I stay selected on her, she will get to the end and the book will actually go through the completion process. I did have it happen once where her father came to talk to her she just stopped writing all together. But I only had that happen once. I wish I could put a door at the top of the stairs so I could lock it while she's writing so no one would talk to her. lol lol Ever since it happened once, I worry it will again. (On PS5 and have every pack).
