I'm not actually sure what triggered this, because I was able to finish books until my Sim started University. But since then she'll get to the very end of the book writing and then it will just cancel out and I can't get her to finish writing the book.
I've tried changing computers, and desks, but nothing changes.
Now, she has yet to graduate University (I quit in frustration for today just after she finished her last term) so maybe once she's done that it will work again, I don't know.
The only other thing is that she also has twin toddlers, but I'm actually not sure how that impacts (I'm looking at an LE that says something about changing diapers on the changing table, but the time stamp on the file isn't right for when I asked her to write the book.)
I am playing vanilla/no mods, no CC, not even MCCC.
