[ARCHIVED] Sims unable to perform any actions, making game unplayable

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.108.335.1020 DX9
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything except Lovestruck and Crystal Creations, but only the modern luxe, Book Nook, bahtroom clutter, everyday clutter, pastel pop, desert luxe, first fits, little campers, decor to the max, blooming rooms, country kitchen, and throwback fit kits
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open any save
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims stand still and are unable to perform any action whatsoever. It happens to every sim. Resetting does not help. Repairing the ggame does not help. Removing mods does not solve problem.
What do you expect to see? For the game to be playable
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Happened after the update for lovestruck. I did also have to activate a new windows license before I updated the game, but I'm not sure that is relevant

    I can't interact with my newborns or pull up a personal interactions wheel.  And, although it does let me pull up an interactions wheel with other people, I have no idea what the interactions are.  I don't even know if this is being worked on since I haven't found anyone having the exact same issue.  But I have removed mods, I have repaired my game, I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled my game but none of that has worked to fix the problem.  I have paid too much money on this game to be having these problems with no one fixing them or seemingly concerned with these issues either.

    I just made a post about having this exact issue after the lovestruck update. I also have the added issue of when I try to close out of the game, it fully freezes mid shut down. Trying Ctrl+Alt+Delete couldn't even close it down, like the task manager came up but couldn't shut it down. I had to force shut down my PC fully and can't play at all.
