I had that happen to me as well, although Ill be honest it was because I put WW mod and then uninstalled it and they were bathing in their default underwears, despite having save my entire sims 4 folder before installing WW and put the folder back after uninstalling the mod... which I still dont understand why a mod have potential bug after being removed and using a sims 4 folder used before installing the mod... and I did not saved while I had the mod on... SO anyway, LittleMsSam have a mode to reset bathing outfit and it worked for me.
the only thing you need to do with LittleMsSam's mod is to enable script first then close your game, put her mod in your mod folder, relaunch the game, open the cheat bar once in live mode and type the command you need from her mod. I wanted to reset all sims bathing outfit so I used: reset_bathing_outfit all
if I remember correctly. My sims are now bathing nude,wich the blurry effect of course.
Edit: Oh and I tried to uninstall and reinstall the game before and it did not worked.
@Francoisf30 For me resetting only worked during the session. After leaving and restarting the game they had default underwear as before.
