Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Either Make a Mermaid sim or Import one from your library or gallery
What happens when the bug occurs? Upon entering Live mode (from manage worlds or from CAS) - The mermaid's eyes don't copy over to their sim form.
What do you expect to see? With everything linked/ Copied over, the sim should appear correctly in live mode, with their selected mermaid eye design.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. (A recent update, though I'm unsure of which, since I haven't been too active, only noticing the eyes switching to normal recently.)
Hello, This is a bit of a messy one. After picking up the game recently, I've noticed that a mermaid sim of mine (Who I somehow had given the black swirl mermaid eyes in her sim form)- now defaults to a normal set of eyes instead of her chosen set. I can go back into CAS to try and correct them- Using the occult form link and copy-to, which ultimately doesn't seem to do anything.
I've had an issue with mermaid eyes - ([OPEN] [IL] Non-Mermaid form doesn't have mermaid eyes - Answer HQ)- so I'm unsure if it's related to this or a new bug in of itself, but its present either way. Sorry if whatever I've written above is a mess.

Bit unsure what you mean by don't copy over to their Sim form ? You see them on the mermaid form but not the Human form ?
Mermaid eyes do seem to work for me though (for the issue above)
If it's about the Sims form not having the eyes, I don't think that's different from the thread you already linked. There are reports of them not switching anymore (which makes me think that it was always intended that you can't use mermaid eyes on human form)

That's pretty much my issue but I've only seen it with my mermaid sim, other occults retain their chosen eye set.
Also, as for your other mention though, that's right yeah. Even aside my current issue, I'm still unable to copy over the mermaid form's eyes to the sim form. Had that problem for a while now but there hasn't been any update or mention of it over time.

But yeah, I believe my current issue of their eyes changing to default could be the one you had linked above, apologies.
