This is my messenger, is in spanish but here you can see what they told me
i think the best solution were gonna get for now is to download occult eyes for everyone mod , adjust it with sims studio . From my testing each occult just has to share their eyes with humans to work so mermaid eyes need human and mermaid to be ticked. Allow for random is unticked for me and still my offspring get the right occult colour eyes. Did the same thing for my tail and horns mod so human/vampire are ticked and once I loaded my save she had her tail/eyes/horns again whereas they we invisible before editing.
Personally, I don't really care about eyes or teeth, they are quite easy to fix with some mods.
Other features, however, would be hell to fix - too time consuming, also, there are no mods that would allow to recreate each sim with enough accuracy.
So, in my case there are no acceptable solution, that's why I didn't touch the game since October patch.
But i do care about teeth and face details because i use them to much with my vampires
